Walmart to carry NHRA Original Vintage Shirts
April 18, 2012 · 0 CommentsGLENDORA, Calif. (April 17, 2012) — NHRA and JEM Sportswear announced today that Walmart® Stores nationwide are currently stocking the hugely popular NHRA Originals vintage T-shirts for men. This marks yet another expansion of the classic line of NHRA Originals vintage men’s T-shirts that debuted last Fall.
“The NHRA Originals program has been a huge success,” said Gary Darcy, senior vice president of sales and marketing, NHRA. “We are very excited to work with Walmart nationwide to bring this cool, classic line to retail and hope to expand the number of styles available in the future.”
Walmart is the largest retail outlet currently participating in the NHRA Originals program, operating 629 stores across the United States. Depicting a class front engine dragster and the iconic NHRA Championship Drag Racing logo, the grey-heather color men’s shirt is exclusively currently available at all Walmart stores nationwide. Available men’s sizes range from small to XXL.
Last Fall NHRA Originals launched in Target Stores nationwide, and followed with the announcement earlier this year of subsequent distributions in Nordstrom, J.C. Penney and Shopko Stores. JEM Sportswear and NHRA will continue to roll out other designs and products through these and other retail outlets.
