Tindle Ready to Rock Bristol in Two ADRL Classes

Santa Rosa Beach, FL (April 20, 2012) – Tim Tindle has been more than excited to return to the seat of Frankie Taylor’s Blown Pro Extreme Corvette. This weekend the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) will make it’s second stop of 10 races on the 2012 tour at historic Bristol Dragway for the ADRL Spring Drags III. Tindle, a former NHRA Promod Challenge Rookie of the year, remembers Bristol very well.

“I can’t explain the feeling of being behind the wheel of Taylor’s Blown Corvette,” Tindle said. “The legal promod is an awesome ride and we have enjoyed our success with it, but nothing can describe the adrenaline rush that I get when launching the Pro Extreme Corvette.”

“We had a great time in Houston with Taylor and his crew and I think this weekend will be even better.”

Tindle will also be competing in the legal “Promodified” legal class with his NHRA National Event winning blown ’67 GT Mustang. The team has made several changes during the offseason and had the opportunity to test this past weekend at the Southern Outlaw Tour at Montgomery Motorsports Park.

“We are running two classes this weekend and it would be great to put one or both in the winner’s circle. Skippy and the team have worked hours around the clock to get the Mustang going and it’s practically a new car. The game plan is to qualify strong and make consistent laps down the race track”

Round one qualifying of the ADRL Spring Drags III begins at 12 p.m today and the team will have a total of three sessions. On Saturday, the team will have one last attempt to improve their position on the ladder, followed by first round at 1:00pm.
