Montgomery Motorsports Park’s Southern Outlaw Tour has become one of the most popular heads up racing series in the country, featuring Outlaw Promods and other heads up classes. With the addition of the Extreme 10.5 class, Extreme Top Bulb, and Extreme Bracket Race, the series averages well over 100 cars each race.
It was a memorable moment for the “chick” Joy Walton in 6.00. The Alabama native marched through a competitive field of guys to be crowned the champion in the winner’s circle. This was Joy’s first victory in the class.
Joy said “I finally got one. I have been trying so hard and it just feels good to finally win one.”
It was also a memorable moment in the bracket class with a father and son final. Brandon Taylor of Roanoke, AL took out his father, Rickie Taylor in the finals.
Congratulations to Joy Walton for getting it done, from DragCoverage.com.
