Super Pro Winner - Blake Johnson, Trussville, AL

(Steele, AL) — DragCoverage.com publisher TJ Pruitt made way to Alabama International Dragway, Steele, AL for the track’s weekly points race this past weekend. Several racers from the central Alabama area attended the event although the threat of Mother Nature was bearing over the track. Pruitt wheeled the Taylor’s Used Auto Parts Mullis Dragster to the quarter-final round, but was no match for Blake Johnson who continues to dominate the Super Pro class.

Blake Johnson of Trussville, AL dominated the Super Pro class after defeating Brandon Taylor, Roanoke, AL in the all dragster final round. Johnson, the 2010 track champion, is currently leading the points and has been in 7 finals out of 8 races at Alabama International Dragway.  Johnson was quick to thank and give credit to his “ole man” for the victory.
